Crisis Response

I am trained and experienced in Crisis Response. Crisis Response is utilized after a violent or traumatic event in the workplace. For example, an accidental death or suicide of a co-worker traumatizes the workplace. I am trained and experienced in being a first step of support immediately following such an incident. My training and skills help employees begin to manage the tragedy. This step is not designed to deliver professional counseling services. Rather, those traumatized begin to work through the very first steps in dealing with a tragedy.


I am a neutral, supportive presence that helps people through this first shock wave. In this process, I help establish the known facts and support the varied emotions and reactions to the situation. I am also able to assist in identifying those who may need more processing of the event.

Peggy has a passion for mediation and significant training in this area. After completing a mediation in my building, a staff member commented that a resolution could not have been accomplished without Peggy.
